My Colours!
That wonderful Golden time
When I was ickle
Very naughty, a little haughty
Innocent but not fickle. Continue reading “My Colours!”
Her Knots!
It was on the news yesterday that an army of locusts has attacked the crops in various parts of India! They might even head towards the city in which I live though I wish and pray that they would return to their home, their habitat and cease the havoc they’ve created!
The Sound Of Music!
Evelyn Glennie, a Scottish multi-percussionist who despite losing her capacity to hear at the age of 12 didn’t give up music! She couldn’t hear the sounds but felt it in the most amazing way! Once she’d heard (felt) a drum playing and in her words…
“Suddenly I realised I could feel the higher drum from the waist up and the lower one from the waist down.” Continue reading “The Sound Of Music!”

And I swam into them and kept staring blankly…
The Maple Tree!
There it hung a wooden plank
Beneath me, a maple tree.
A little girl would hop in her pigtails
Swaying her frock, playing with the frills.
She would sit on her majestic throne – a wooden plank!
And in her sweet voice she yelled
“Higher Daddy! Higher I wanna go!”
Their laughs echoed in the valley
As the swing launched high
Towards the infinite sky…
Alike me!
Hollow…

Happy B’day Krishna!
You might not know her. Trying to spot her in the pic! There she is the one at the left in light blue in a jovial mood! So, I shall give you a brief introduction first! She is a very sweet, kind and easy-going person, the one with whom you would love to spend your time – as I do! Moreover, it’s her angelic voice which makes her stand atop the crowd!
